What is BRAG?

Our History:

In the early 90’s a local group of concerned residents banded together in an effort to save the Mary Jane Lampton Auditorium, located on the historic Whitworth Campus. Their efforts were the beginning of the Brookhaven Trust.

One of the offshoots of “The Trust” as we fondly refer to it, was the Fine Arts Committee. They were tasked with the preservation of the Arts in Brookhaven, and to help revitalize the Arts community through free exhibitions, Art talks, and an annual Art competition.

​In the mid 00’s a group of local women began meeting on a regular basis to paint and soon began pitching in to help the Fine Arts Committee with their exhibitions and shows.
In time, The FAC was reorganized, and permission from The Trust was granted to form the Brookhaven Regional Arts Guild. Our first meeting was held January 14th, 2014.
